Elias Guzman is a 4th-year Biomedical Engineering transfer student in biomedical engineering at UC Davis and an American Chemical Society Scholar. Elias actively contributes as an undergraduate researcher in the Morrison Lab at the California National Primate Research Center, where his research interests lie in Tau-based animal models of Alzeimer's Disease in Non-Human Primates, and he serves as a Transfer Student Liaison for the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Student Chapter at UC Davis. Additionally, he serves as an AvenueE Ambassador for the AvenueE retention program at UC Davis for transfer students in engineering and computer science. Elias's academic interests lie in the development in various medical imaging modalities in the treatment/diagnosis of neurological disorders and diseases such as Alzeimer's Disease and Glioblastoma.
